Just over a month after her How I Met Your Mother character became a parent, it is announced that Alyson Hannigan has given birth to her own baby girl. People reports that the actress, 38, and her husband Alexis Denisof, 46, brought daughter Keeva Jane Denisof into the world on May 23.
Keeva is the second child for the couple. Their first daughter, Satyana Marie Denisof, now 3, was born on March 24, 2009 (Hannigan’s 35th birthday).
Hannigan announced her pregnancy in December 2011, following denial of a series of rumors about her being with child. The majority of the seventh season of her CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother allowed Hannigan to display her ever-growing baby bump, as her character Lily Aldrin was also expecting a little one — now, both Hannigan and Lily can bask in the joys of motherhood.
Hannigan and husband Denisof met on the set of the beloved Buffy the Vampire Slayer. They have also worked together on the Buffy spinoff Angel, on Hannigan’s current series How I Met Your Mother, and in films like the 2001 crime-drama Beyond City Limits and the 2011 rom-com Love, Wedding, Marriage.
