Amy Schumer has confirmed reports she is pregnant by joking about her baby’s biological father.
The big news broke via CNN White House correspondent Jessica Yellin’s Instagram Story account on Monday (22Oct18) after the Trainwreck star urged fans to check out the journalist’s site for “some exciting news”.
“About to announce some exciting news on @jessicayellin insta page,” Amy teased the announcement.
“Please follow her for up to the minute #newsnotnoise she breaks down what’s really going on. She agreed to post a lil noise today for me!”
Amy has now released a statement to the Los Angeles Times, confirming she and chef Chris Fischer, her husband of eight months, are expecting.
“Chris and I are thrilled and almost positive he’s the father,” the comedienne writes. “I look forward to competing with (Meghan) Markle every step of the way.”
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and British royal Prince Harry announced their pregnancy earlier this month, five months after their May (18) wedding at Windsor Castle in England.
As part of her big announcement on Monday, Amy posted a photo of herself and Fischer photoshopped as the fellow mom-to-be and Prince Harry online.
