Anderson heads to Germany to promote ban on seal fur

The former Baywatch beauty paid a visit to the Ministry of Economics on behalf of the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) in a bid to meet Philipp Rosler and persuade him to fight an attempt by officials from the World Trade Organization to re-introduce the seal skin trade to the continent.

However, Rosler was not present and Anderson was forced to leave the campaign documents with the politician’s representatives.

Anderson has been a leading voice in the battle to stop the slaying of baby harp seals for their furs, and she previously celebrated after Russian officials bowed to international pressure to ban the import of seal pelts from her native Canada.
