Angelina Jolie facing one more surgery in double mastectomy recovery

Angelina Jolie is facing one more operation as she continues to recover from a double mastectomy last year (13). The actress stunned fans last May (13) when she announced she had had both her breasts removed after discovering she was at high risk of developing cancer.
Jolie also underwent reconstructive surgery to restore her curves, but she admits her health battle is not yet over as there is still one more hurdle to overcome.
She tells Entertainment Weekly, “There’s still another surgery to have, which I haven’t (had) yet.”
The superstar also admits she has been overwhelmed by the support and personal stories fans have shared with her in response to her big reveal: “Wherever I go, usually I run into women and we talk about health issues, women’s issues, breast cancer, ovarian cancer. I’ve talked to men about their daughters’ and wives’ health.
“It makes me feel closer to other people who deal with the same things and have either lost their parents or are considering surgeries or wondering about their children. I was very, very moved by all the support and kindness from so many people.”
And she is planning to turn to the same people to seek advice and tips on how to handle the next step in her recovery.
Jolie, who has not shared details of the looming operation, adds, “I’ll get advice from all these wonderful people who I’ve been talking to, to get through that next stage.”
