An animated series inspired by Kevin Hart’s childhood is in the works.
Lil Kev will center on a 12-year-old boy growing up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with a single mother and a drug-addicted father. The comedy series will also feature a pessimistic older brother, an ex-convict uncle, and a talking dog.
Narrated and executive produced by the Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle star, and featuring comedienne Wanda Sykes, the new project will be based on subject matter from Hart’s comedy skits.
