Anna Faris was full of praise for ex Chris Pratt when she discussed their post-split relationship.
The movie stars were married in 2009 and became parents to their 5-year-old son Jack. They announced their separation last summer (17), both citing irreconcilable differences when they filed for divorce last December.
However, Anna insists that the former couple have remained friends in spite of their split.
“We are great, and there’s so much friendship and love,” she told British Extra presenter Mark Wright. “We surround Jack with love and funny, kind, happy people. And as a result, he is really happy.”
The Mom actress didn’t divulge details on her current relationship status, although her co-star Allison Janney previously confirmed that Anna is dating 47-year-old cinematographer Michael Bennett. Anna also used the Extra interview as an opportunity to congratulate Allison on her Golden Globe win for movie I, Tonya.
“I love her so much,” she gushed. “I’m one of those rare people who get to drive to work every day with a smile on my face, and a huge part of that is because I get to work with her.”
The 41-year-old added that she believes co-parenting is “hugely important” and “feels so fortunate to have amazing friends and amazing family.”
Anna and Chris, 38, have asked for joint custody of their son and have both reserved the right to pick up spousal support, according to TMZ. Sources have also told the news outlet that there is a prenuptial agreement in place.
