Actress Anne Hathaway gave sick kids at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee a reason to smile on Wednesday (09Apr14) by paying them a surprise visit to screen her new movie Rio 2. The Dark Knight Rises star stopped by the medical facility to meet her young fans and posed for pictures with the excited patients before treating them to an early viewing her new animated film.
A message from hospital representatives on Twitter.com reads, “Anne Hathaway surprised the kids of St. Jude during an advanced screening of her new movie, Rio2.”
The movie sequel opened in the U.S. on Friday (11Apr14).
