Singer Annie Lennox has been unveiled as the 2013 recipient of the prestigious Music Industry Trusts Award. The Eurythmics star will be honoured for her longstanding career and charity work at a ceremony in November (13).
Speaking about the accolade, Lennox says, “I feel very privileged.”
Previous honourees include Sir Elton John and Sir Tom Jones, while Take That star Gary Barlow picked up the award last year (12).
