Ariana Grande: ‘I’d like to be just Ariana by the time I wed’

Ariana Grande will keep her grandfather’s name when she marries fiance Pete Davidson, but by then she hopes to be just Ariana.
During a chat with Apple Music Beats 1’s Ebro Darden, the pop star opened up about life after marriage, revealing she will be Mrs. Davidson within five years.
She’s still not sure whether she’ll change her name professionally to Ariana Grande-Davidson, but she would like to keep her family’s Italian name – even though she still thinks it’s a little ridiculous.
“I feel like I’d eventually just be Ariana, isn’t that sick?” the No Tears Left to Cry singer said. “I feel like it’s got a ring to it.
“(But) I have to keep Grande because of my grandpa,” she added. “I think of him with everything I do in it and he was so proud of our name, I should keep it…
“My full name is Ariana Grande-Butera… I’m a pizza, I’m a freakin’ meatball… I’m parmesan.”
Ariana also opened up about what family life with comedian Pete will be like, adding she’d like to have three kids, but she insists she has time to figure all that out.
“I have a lot of decisions to make, but I also have an album to drop and a tour to finish before I do make any of these decisions.”
Ariana and Pete became engaged in June after a whirlwind romance, but both recently confessed they knew they’d end up together when they first met on the set of sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live two years ago.
