Actress Ariel Winter’s mum has lost her legal bid to reunite with her daughter. Chrystal Workman lost custody of the Modern Family star last year (12), following the teen’s allegations of emotional abuse. The 15 year old’s mother requested a court in California reinstate her legal parental rights, but a judge has refused, according to TMZ.com.
Instead, the temporary guardianship order for Winter to stay under her older sister Shanelle’s care was extended.
According to court documents, Workman “presented no evidence that there were any changes or repair of damage to their relationship”.
The young actress has made it clear she does not want any contact with her mum.
Another court date is set for September (13).
