Arrest warrant issued for wrestling legend Ric Flair

Wrestling icon Ric Flair is wanted by North Carolina police after allegedly failing to pay spousal support to his estranged wife. The retired sportsman, real name Richard Fliehr, reportedly owes Jacqueline Beems more than $32,000 (£20,645) as per a court order issued after she filed for legal separation last summer (12) to end their three-year marriage.
A judge in Charlotte recently signed off on an arrest warrant for the 64 year old, demanding he pay up or be taken into custody.
However, Flair isn’t the only one in trouble with the law – cops are also looking to question Beems over claims she threatened to beat up her former husband’s new girlfriend, Wendy Barlow Kidder, last October (12). A warrant for her arrest was issued at the end of June (13).
It’s the latest personal drama for Flair, who lost his wrestler son Reid to an accidental drug overdose in March (13).
