Avenged Sevenfold take U.K. albums chart crown

Heavy rockers Avenged Sevenfold have scored their first U.K. number one album after stealing the chart crown with their new release Hail To The King. The band’s achievement ends the four-week reign by British TV talent show stars Richard and Adam Johnson – their The Impossible Dream falls to four.
Producer Naughty Boy is a new entry at two with Hotel Cabana, while Ellie Goulding jumps up from 26 to three with Halcyon. Bob Dylan compilation Another Self Portrait (1969-1971): The Bootleg Series Vol. 10 rounds out the top five by debuting in fifth place.
In the U.K. singles chart, Goulding racks up a third consecutive week in first place with Burn, with Avicii’s Wake Me Up and Klangkarussell’s Sonnentanz (Sun Don’t Shine) remain unchanged at two and three, respectively.
