Baldwin joins star-studded cast of 9/11 play

The trio will join Jeremy Piven, Tony Shalhoub, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Vincent Piazza, Billy Crudup, Kathleen Turner and Annabella Sciorra, among other big names, for the two-night performance of Sarah Tuft’s 110 Stories at New York University’s Skirball Center for the Performing Arts (08-09Sep11).

Proceeds from the production will benefit volunteer service New York Says Thank You Foundation.

The play is based on first-person accounts of the 9/11 atrocities in 2001 and Baldwin is honoured to be a part of the show, stating, “My motivation for joining the 110 Stories cast was due in part that it was inspired by getting back to that place of unity and remembering what makes our country great regardless of personal or political point of view.”
