Petr Petrovich Vereshchagin’s 19th century painting of St. Petersburg, which Baryshnikov purchased in the 1970s, is to be sold at Sotheby’s on 12 April (11) as part of a Russian art sale.
It is expected to fetch up to $500,000 (£312,500).
