Retired basketball icon Scottie Pippen has been arrested for felony assault. The former Chicago Bulls ace turned himself in to police in Malibu, California on Monday afternoon (24Jun13) after allegedly becoming involved in a fight with an autograph hunter on Sunday night (23Jun13).
Pippen, 47, is accused of punching and kicking the man, who was hospitalised with injuries to his head and back, before fleeing the scene. The victim also suffered broken teeth and a swollen mouth, according to TMZ.com.
The sports great, who is married to Kim Kardashian’s pal Larsa Pippen, has been booked on a charge of felony assault with intent to commit great bodily harm.
