Late Battlestar Galactica star Richard Hatch was honoured with a video tribute during a Comic-Con reunion on Thursday (20Jul17).
In footage that played before a panel event in San Diego, the show’s star Edward James Olmos introduced his castmates to an eager crowd of fans.
“I wish I could be there in person but I’m Spain,” Olmos said. “You are with the best of the best. All the actors on the stage are my family. Thank you to the fan base, you’ve always been there for us.”
The video also contained a touching tribute to Hatch, who portrayed the character Apollo in the original 1970s series.
Hatch died in February (17), aged 71.
