Benefit for slain The Yellow Dogs stars planned for Monday

The slain members of cult New York band The Yellow Dogs are to be remembered at a special concert in Brooklyn on Monday (18Nov13). Guitarist Soroush Farazmand and his brother, drummer Arash, were killed in a shootout at the Brooklyn home they shared with a third victim last week (11Nov13). Suspect Raefe Ahkbar opened fire before turning his gun on himself.
The concert, billed as The Show for The Yellow Dogs, will benefit the families of the deceased.
The line-up for the Brooklyn Bowl gig will include sets by Nada Surf, Dirty Fences and TV on the Radio’s Kyp Malone.
