Broadway veteran Betsy Wolfe has landed the coveted role of Queen Elsa in the Frozen musical.
The 33-year-old, who has appeared in New York productions of Bullets Over Broadway and Everyday Rapture, will reunite with songwriters Robert and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, who she teamed up with on Up Here in San Diego, California last year (15).
Betsy will take on the role Idina Menzel voiced in the hit Disney film – and that means she gets to sing Disney anthem Let It Go.
Alex Timbers will direct the musical at the St. James Theatre in spring, 2018, after the premiere in 2017 in Denver, Colorado.
