Bette Midler And Joan Jett Join The Voice As Guest Mentors

Bette Midler and Joan Jett are heading to reality TV to serve as mentors on the upcoming season of America’s The Voice.

Country singer Blake Shelton and rocker Adam Levine are the only two original judges heading back to their spinning chairs for season 11, with Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys filling in the two vacant seats, which have supported Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguilera and Pharrell Williams in recent years.

Now the stars who will be helping the foursome guide their contestants in the Battle Rounds of the singing competition have been unveiled, with Shelton teaming up with legendary entertainer Bette, and rock icon Joan lending her expertise to pal Miley’s team.

Adam will receive the advice of former Van Halen frontman Sammy Hagar, and Alicia will fine tune her contestants’ talents with See You Again hitmaker Charlie Puth.

The Voice will officially return to U.S. TV screens in September (16).

Last season’s guest mentors were Blake’s girlfriend Gwen Stefani, Patti LaBelle, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, and Tori Kelly, while Miley served as a key advisor.
