Betty White to Receive Lifetime Achievement Award


Veteran actress Betty White will be feted for her career at the International Cinematographers Guild Publicists Awards next year (18).

The former The Golden Girls star will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award on 2 March (18) at the Beverly Hilton in California.

“It is such an honor to be recognized for a lifetime of doing what you love,” White says. “I do not ever take it for granted.”

Betty White is a joy and a national treasure,” ICG national president Steven Poster adds. “She brings a smile to the nation’s face, and the ICG is honored to celebrate her inspiring accomplishments.”

Previous recipients of the accolade include comedienne Lily Tomlin. Nominations for the awards will be announced next month (Jan18).
