Big Boi pockets $100,000 betting on NBA Championships

Outkast star Big Boi is $100,000 richer after betting big on the Golden State Warriors to win the NBA Championship title.

The rapper was among the fans celebrating on Monday night (12Jun17) after basketball star Stephen Curry and his Warriors teammates beat LeBron James and his Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 5 of the NBA Finals to claim their second title in three years.

Big Boi put money on the Oakland, California-based team’s victory, and the big gamble paid off.
“I just won a lot of money with them boys, $100,000!” he told TMZ gleefully.

The Golden State Warriors previously lifted the Championship trophy in 2015, 40 years after their last title.
