Bill Cosby planning small screen return

Bill Cosby is reuniting with his producing partner from The Cosby Show to develop a new family-centred comedy for U.S. TV. More than 20 years after the hit 1980s sitcom ended its eight-season run, the 76-year-old actor is working on a new programme with longtime pal and collaborator Tom Werner.
Cosby has struck a deal with bosses at America’s NBC network, which originally aired his Emmy-winning show, to create a new format featuring the veteran comedian as a patriarch of a multi-generational family, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The funnyman last starred on network television in Cosby from 1996 to 2000, a project which reunited him with his on-screen wife Phylicia Rashad and was based on hit British series One Foot in the Grave.
