Bill Nighy Up for Top Spanish film Award

Bill Nighy has been nominated for a Best Supporting Actor prize at Spain’s Premios Feroz awards.

The British actor stars in The Bookshop, Spanish director Isabel Coixet’s adaptation of Penelope Fitzgerald’s novel following a woman who opens a book store in a small coastal town in 1950s England.

The movie is yet to debut in the U.K. and U.S., but received rave reviews upon its release in Spain in November (17), and has earned three Premios Feroz nominations from members of the Spanish Press Association, with Isabel also earning a Best Director nod.
