Singer/songwriter Billy Bragg has been named the recipient of this year’s (13) AIM Independent Music Awards Outstanding Contribution prize. The Sexuality hitmaker will accept his latest accolade at a gala event in London in September (13).
In announcing the news on Thursday (04Jul13), AIM’s CEO Alison Wenham states Bragg has earned the coveted award for “his constant campaigning towards a better deal for musicians the world over – not forgetting a catalogue of great music.”.
