Billy Crystal making Broadway comeback with 700 Sundays

Billy Crystal is returning to Broadway with acclaimed 2004 production 700 Sundays to mark his 65th birthday. The When Harry Met Sally star is rebooting his poignant one man show, which wowed critics almost a decade ago and won the Tony award for Special Theatrical Event.
The title is a reference to time spent with his father, Jack, who died when he was 15, and Crystal thought it was the perfect moment to revisit his memories on the 50th anniversary of his death, as well as marking his own birthday milestone.
The funnyman tells the New York Post, “It’s the 50th anniversary of his death and I turned 65 this year so I thought it was a good time to come back to New York with the show.”
Previews of the concert will begin on 5 November (13).
