Bobbi Kristina Brown: ‘My husband saved by life’

Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown has credited her new husband Nick Gordon for “saving her life” after the death of her mother. Gordon, who Houston adopted when he was just 12 years old, and Brown exchanged vows in a secret ceremony last month (Jan14), and now the newlyweds are talking about the friendship-turned-romance.
Brown reveals she couldn’t have imagined being with anyone else after her mother drowned in the bathtub of a Los Angeles hotel in February, 2012.
She tells Britain’s The Sun, “He’s saved my life through such an extremely difficult time. I was very, very low at some points. He’s been everything for me and that means a lot to me.
“If my mother could see me now she would just be so incredibly happy. I can just see her – she’d be running around fussing about the wedding. She wanted this.”
Brown, who is Houston’s daughter with singer Bobby Brown, adds, “She would always be saying to us, ‘You guys are going to get married. I already know you’re going to get married and have children’. But at the time, we really didn’t think it was going to happen.
“Out of nowhere, we fell madly in love with each other… It took us completely by surprise, just like mom’s death did. Before then, we had lived as best friends, as brother and sister.”
The couple is planning a lavish second wedding ceremony this summer (14).
