Bollywood composer Charanjit Singh dies at 75

Composer CHARANJIT SINGH has died at the age of 75.
The Bollywood star passed away in his sleep on Sunday (05Jul15) in Mumbai, India, according to RollingStone.com.
Singh began his career as a session musician for Bollywood soundtrack orchestras in the 1960s and also recorded several cover albums of popular Indian music.
In 1982, he switched genres and recorded Synthesizing: Ten Ragas to a Disco Beat, which was credited as one of the earliest acid house music albums.
The record spent two decades in obscurity, but was rediscovered in 2002.
Singh is survived by his composer son Raju Singh, who scores for movies and TV.
