Bollywood veteran Nanda dies

Veteran Bollywood star Nanda has died at the age of 75. The actress suffered a heart attack at her home in Mumbai, India on Tuesday (25Mar14).
The daughter of successful actor/director Vinayak Damodar Karnataki, Nanda started her career as a child star in the 1950s.
She went on to land her big break in Toofan Aur Diya in 1956 and became a star following the release of 1959’s Chhoti Bahen.
Nanda stopped acting in the 1970s, but later returned to the big screen in the 1980s in hit films Ahista Ahista, Mazdoor and Prem Rog.
