Bruno Mars expands Grammy Camp scholarship

Bruno Mars has pledged to provide talented students from across the U.S. financial support for another five years after expanding his Grammy Foundation scholarship programme.
The Uptown Funk hitmaker established the Bruno Mars Scholarship Fund in 2014, when he joined forces with officials from the Recording Academy and the Hawaii Community Foundation to send financially-strapped, aspiring musicians from his native Hawaii to the Grammy Foundation’s summer music camp until 2019.
Now Bruno has opened applications to high school students from across America as part of a new Grammy Camp initiative, with the singer paying for tuition, housing, and transportation for one person a year for the next five years to help them achieve their musical dreams.
Grammy Camp attendees learn all about the music industry from professionals in Los Angeles and Nashville, Tennessee.
