Boy George helps James Corden lose weight

British actor James Corden has credited slimmed-down singer Boy George with helping him to lose weight. The Karma Chameleon hitmaker recently shed 56 pounds (25 kilograms) by adopting a healthy diet, and The History Boys star Corden was so impressed with Boy George’s results, he reached out to him via Twitter.com to ask for advice.
The ’80s icon put Corden in touch with his nutritionist Amelia Freer, and the chubby funnyman has already dropped 21 pounds (9.5 kilograms).
Corden tells Britain’s Daily Mirror, “I came back from New York where I’d been eating quite a bit and had put on a few pounds.
“I saw Boy George looking amazing, absolutely unbelievable, and messaged him asking for the number of his nutritionist. I got in touch with her and she put me on this diet plan, working out which foods do and don’t suit me. It’s not rocket science – basically don’t eat cake, don’t eat bread.
“It’s not particularly drastic or uber-scientific. The basic principle is that I eat a little bit less and move a little bit more. They send me meals to eat every day and although I’m not meant to weigh myself, I’ve probably lost about a stone and a half. Having said that, I’m talking to you now eating a piece of toast…”
