Brian Wilson’s new tune started out as a Bond theme

Beach Boys star Brian Wilson’s new track, Run James Run, started out as a James Bond theme.
The pop icon’s collaborator Joe Thomas reveals Brian wrote the song in the 1960s in the hope it would be picked up for a 007 movie. The tune became the instrumental Pet Sounds, but now Wilson has revamped it.
“What I like about Run James Run is the melody,” Brian says. “I thought that the song had an unusually good chord pattern.”
