Bridget Moynahan vacuumed up Thanksgiving mashed potatoes mess

Actress Bridget Moynahan once had to break out the vacuum to save her Thanksgiving dinner after a loose pepper pot lid almost ruined her mashed potatoes.
The Blue Bloods star reveals she likes to be in charge of cooking the feast on the annual holiday, but preparing the meal one year turned into a nightmare – just as she was putting the finishing touches to her dishes.
“I had a Thanksgiving disaster,” she laughs. “I had everybody out there at the table, I was mashing the potatoes. I went for the salt, I went for the pepper, and the cover of the pepper fell off and the whole thing dumped into the mashed potatoes!”
Desperate Moynahan couldn’t think of a speedy culinary solution for the problem, so she decided to clear up the mishap the only way she knew how.
“The table was waiting, so I got the vacuum cleaner out and I just sucked it up!,” she confesses.
