British star Ben Hardy to rock on as Roger Taylor in Freddie Mercury biopic

British TV star Ben Hardy has signed on to join Rami Malek in the upcoming Freddie Mercury biopic – as Queen drummer Roger Taylor.
The EastEnders star, who appeared in last year’s (16) X-Men: Apocalypse, is taking drumming lessons so he can look the part in the much-anticipated new film, according to The Sun.
Mr. Robot star Malek landed the role of Freddie Mercury after funnyman Sacha Baron Cohen pulled out of the project following clashes with Queen stars Taylor and Brian May.
The film, titled Bohemian Rhapsody, will chronicle Queen’s early years and their journey to the top of the music world via their historic appearance at Live Aid in 1985.
Movie bosses are still on the hunt for young stars to portray May and bass player John Deacon.
