British TV star cleared over bar brawl

British reality TV star Holly Hagan has been cleared by police investigating a nightclub attack which prompted TV bosses behind Geordie Shore to halt filming. The castmember and her friend Vicky Pattison were arrested after a mass brawl broke out in a bar in Newcastle, England last month (Jul13) and left an 18-year-old Irish girl in need of hospital treatment.
The teenager required stitches after allegedly being hit with a high-heeled shoe.
Filming on the popular show was halted as police investigated the alleged incident, with both stars being released on bail, and now Hagan, 21, has been cleared of any wrongdoing.
A representative for the TV star says, “Holly is relieved that she has had this shadow lifted from her by the police because she was horrified that her good name was being dragged through the mud.
“She was completely innocent and not involved in any kind of fracas and was horrified when she was arrested. It’s been a nightmare for her. She just happened to be in the right place, at the wrong time.
“Now she is determined to put the whole thing behind her and wants people to know that she was blameless.”
Pattison remains free on bail as investigations continue.
