Broadchurch creator issues plea for secrecy

The creator of hit British crime drama Broadchurch has begged locals who live near the set to keep second season spoilers secret. The new series of the murder mystery show, starring David Tennant and Olivia Colman, is soon to begin filming in Dorset, England and creator/writer Chris Chibnall has issued a plea for discretion to local residents who may witness key scenes being shot.
He says, “We’re coming back to film around West Bay and Clevedon (in Dorset). We’re all thrilled about returning, especially given how supportive the whole community was last time. And if the community are able to keep our secrets as well as they did last time, we’ll be ever so grateful.”
An American adaptation of the show, Gracepoint, starring Tennant alongside Breaking Bad’s Anna Gunn, will air later this year (14).
