Brolin was almost 007

Brolin reveals he was the favourite to replace Moore as 007 in 1983 film Octopussy when the Brit opted to quit as the superspy, but then the Bond star had a change of heart.

Brolin reveals, “Roger Moore had made the decision to leave the franchise, but at the last minute he decided to continue playing the suave 007, which was a real disappointment.”
