Brooks’ son charged after designer’s death

Nicholas Brooks, son of the acclaimed screenwriter/composer, was questioned by cops in the early hours of Thursday morning after the body of Sylvie Cachay was found submerged in a bathtub at a New York City hotel room.

The 24 year old was reported to be helping police with their inquiries following the gruesome discovery at the star-studded Soho House building in Manhattan, but he has now been arrested and formerly charged, according to the New York Daily News.

New York Police Department spokesman Paul Browne tells the newspaper, “He talked to us, but he has not confessed.”
