Bros documentary film in the works

The director behind Harry Styles’ recent music documentary is set to turn the spotlight on regrouped British boyband Bros for a new film.
David Soutar is set to chronicle the highs and lows of the popular 1980s stars, fronted by twin brothers Matt and Luke Goss, and follow the singers as they embark on a brief reunion tour this summer (Aug17), their first major live shows since 1989.
“This documentary will be an access all areas pass for the viewer to see that journey with a backdrop of film and music,” Luke says in a statement, according to Variety. “I’m looking forward to introduce the real me to my fans and have the wonderful opportunity to see this documentary become the definitive truth on mine and my brothers worlds coming together to bring the most vibrant Bros show to date, to the big screen.”
“The extreme contrasts in an artist’s life are very rarely documented,” adds Matt. “I’m looking forward to being a fly on the wall within my own life.”
Soutar previously focused his lens on One Direction singer Styles as he embarked on his solo career in Harry Styles: Behind The Album, which was released on Apple Music in May (17).
Like that film, the Bros feature documentary will be produced via Fulwell 73, the U.K.-based company comedian and U.S. late night talk show host James Corden became a partner of in January (17).
