Bruce Springsteen album leaked online

Fans of Bruce Springsteen received a belated Christmas gift on Saturday (28Dec13) when his new album became available for download on Amazon.com – more than two weeks before its official release date. Songs from High Hopes, The Boss’ 18th studio project, appeared in an MP3 format on the retailer’s mobile website and allowed eagle-eyed customers to purchase each individual track for a brief period, before the error was rectified and they were removed from sale.
However, the tunes have since popped up on various illegal file-sharing websites, reports Billboard.com.
High Hopes, the follow up to 2012’s Wrecking Ball, is scheduled for release from 13 January (14).
Representatives for both Amazon and Springsteen have yet to comment on the music leak.
