Bryan Cranston got Breaking Bad tattoo to signal end of an era

Bryan Cranston will always have a permanent reminder of his time on hit TV drama Breaking Bad after having the show’s logo tattooed on his finger. A number of the show’s cast and crewmembers all decided to get inked to mark their final day of shooting in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and while the actor’s co-star, Aaron Paul, decided to have the phrase “No half measures” branded along the inside of his biceps, Cranston opted for a more discreet design.
During an interview with GQ magazine, his actress wife, Robin Dearden, said, “Bryan’s not a tattoo guy. He’s the last person who would ever do it.”
Cranston added, “But I wanted something… something that would give me private personal pleasure, like when I pass by and catch a glimpse of a picture of my mum, or my old manager. People who are gone now. And it seemed appropriate. I mean, Breaking Bad changed my life.”
He showed off the tiny tattoo on the inside of his right ring finger to the GQ interviewer, who describes the inking in the article as “not much bigger than a pair of beauty marks”.
The Breaking Bad logo features the first two letters of each word in the style of chemical elements from the periodic table.
The last episodes in the series’ final season five will begin airing in the U.S. next month (Aug13).
