Bryan Ferry’s divorce moved one step closer to finalisation after it was approved by a judge in London on Friday (07Mar14). The former Roxy Music star split from his second wife, Amanda Sheppard, in 2013 after less than two years of marriage and their divorce petition was heard at London’s High Court on Friday.
A judge granted the former couple a decree nisi. They must now wait six weeks for the marriage to be officially dissolved.
Court paperwork has revealed Sheppard, 31, blamed Ferry’s “continuing unreasonable behaviour” for the split.
Ferry, 68, wed the former public relations worker in Turks and Caicos in 2011. He was previously married to Lucy Helmore from 1982 until their divorce in 2003.
