Caitlyn Jenner hasn’t spoken to stepdaughter Kim Kardashian “in a long time”.

The 67-year-old reality star caused problems in her family when she released her new autobiography The Secrets Of My Life in April (17). In the tome, Caitlyn made some allegations about ex-wife Kris Jenner, including that she knew about the former Olympian’s issues with her gender identity before she went public with them.

After being given an advance copy of the book, Kris expressed her anger over the allegations in the publication to her daughters, and Kim slammed Caitlyn for being dishonest in what she had written while appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last month (Apr17).

The I Am Cait star has now admitted she hasn’t spoken to Kim in some time.

“Well, to be honest with you, I really haven’t talked to her in a long time. I’ve kind of let everything calm down. So I kind of stay – you know I keep my distance,” Caitlyn said during an interview on Australian breakfast TV show Today on Thursday (11May17).

Despite their estrangement, Caitlyn insisted she still loves her stepdaughter.

“I love Kimberly, I think she’s a wonderful person, we have a very good relationship,” she said.
While she speaks to biological daughters Kendall and Kylie Jenner “all the time”, she also hasn’t chatted to Khloe or Kourtney Kardashian, her other stepdaughters with Kris.

Since going public with her transition into a woman from her former identity of Bruce Jenner, Caitlyn has done her best to speak out for those in the LGBTQ communities, and she hopes that by releasing her book and documenting every aspect of her transition, she can help others accept who they are.

“I’m out right now trying to make a difference in the world, I live in a very marginalized community where the murder rate is out of control,” she said.
