Cam assures fans she’s OK after London terror attacks

Country star Cam has assured fans she’s fine after performing in London 24 hours before the city’s latest terror attacks.
The singer performed an unplugged concert in Notting Hill on Friday night (02Jun17) and was still in the city during the London Bridge and Borough Market atrocities.
After learning police officers had shot and killed three terrorists who mowed down pedestrians on London Bridge before stabbing Saturday night revellers in nearby Borough Market, she hit social media to let her followers and fans know she was OK.
“Following updates on the #LondonBridge #boroughmarket and #Vauxhall (attacks) from the hotel,” Cam tweeted. “We are safe. Heart is hurting for those involved.”
Seven people were killed during the terror attack.
Lady Antebellum star Hillary Scott was relieved to see to Cam’s tweet, responding, “SO thankful you’re safe and praying for #London!!!!!”
Cam will be back in America later this week ahead of her performance at the CMA Fest in Nashville, Tennessee on Saturday (10Jun17).
