Cam’ron apologises for missing London gig

Rapper Cam’Ron has apologised to fans for missing a gig in London this week (beg02Jun14). The star had been due to play his first concert in the city in several years at The Forum in Kentish Town on Tuesday night (03Jun14), but the gig was called off at the last minute after the audience had already entered venue.
When it was announced that Cam’ron would not be gracing the stage, the news was met with jeers and cat calls from the irritated crowd.
The star has now taken to Instagram.com to explain his absence and apologise to fans who were left waiting for him to appear.
Cam’ron appears to suggest there were safety concerns over the show, writing, “Sorry to all my fans dat (that) came to da (sic) show but as u (you) can see they tried to line me up. And only da (sic) barber lines me up… They had 15 (people)… in front of da (sic) stage (that rushed the stage) and 35… outside… And I was wit 2 (people)… The people that brought me here were very very nice… but when I asked where the (security) was at? (That they were suppose to have) they never showed them to me… Not s**tting on them cause they were cool… But we can’t play when it gets down to hammer time… So no I didn’t get robbed… No I didn’t get jumped… I was chillin (sic)… To rest of London… Love y’all… I really do and apologise again.. But y’all (others)… y’all blew yak chance again (sic)… Dumb a** gangsta’s (sic)…”
