Cardi B lashed out at ‘time wasting’ lawyer during deposition over mix tape

Cardi B blasted a lawyer for taking her away from her daughter for a deposition about artwork on a mix tape cover.
The Bodak Yellow hitmaker faced-off with Kevin Michael Brophy, Jr.’s legal eagle back in April (19), after the snapper accused the rapper of using one of his images of her without permission, and Cardi was clearly not happy to testify.
In a newly-released transcript from the deposition, obtained by The Blast, Cardi rages about having to take time away from her daughter, Kulture, to handle the case.
“I could really be with my kid right now,” she said. “Like, I’m really upset because I really have to be with my kid. All because of some bulls**t trying to get money and then $5 million. Are you f**king kidding me? That mix tape didn’t even make, not even a million dollars.”
The rap star also denied any wrongdoing while being quizzed as part of Brophy’s $5 million (£4.1 million) lawsuit, adding: “You need to go to the photographer, or whoever edited this s**t, because that’s who did it – clearly.”
Cardi B initially fought to keep her testimony in the case private but the request was denied by a federal judge earlier this week (beg19Aug19).
