Cardi B: ‘The world isn’t ready for my wedding’

Cardi B wants her wedding to be an extremely extravagant affair.

The 25-year-old rapper, who shot to worldwide fame with her tune Bodak Yellow, got engaged to Migos star Offset in October (17), when he popped the question while they were on stage at the Power 99’s Powerhouse concert in Philadelphia.

Now Cardi, real name Belcalis Almanzar, is busy planning her dream nuptials and revealed some details of how she sees the day panning out during an interview with New York Magazine.

“The world is not ready for it,” she shared of her wedding plans. “Everybody got to be wearing red. And my bridesmaids are gonna be wearing suits, what’s good.”

Following her proposal, Cardi took to Instagram to share a close-up picture of her giant pear-shaped diamond ring and a gushing post to her new fiance, writing: “Jesus Christ I’m so emotional, @offsetyrn I loveee (sic) you so much. Thank you for seeing the potential in me since you met me. For giving me advice molding me and loving me. Your such a amazing man to me your family, friends, kids and you are extremely talented. I can’t wait to spend FOREVAAAA with you. Lets make a lot shmoney (money) and love together (sic).”

Elsewhere in her New York Magazine interview, Cardi discussed the impact her tune Bodak Yellow has had on the world, and whether or not she considers herself a feminist.

“You know what? I’m not even gonna consider myself nothing,” she said. “Here’s the thing that b**ches got me f**ked up when it comes to that word. People think that being a feminist is a b**ch that, like, went to school.

“They wear skirts all the way to their motherf**king ankles like a goddamn First Lady. That’s not being a feminist. Being a feminist is being equal to do what a man do.”
