Casey Affleck confirms brother Ben and Mat Damon’s knight’s tale movie

Casey Affleck has confirmed reports that his brother Ben and their pal Matt Damon are teaming up play unlikely 14th century French nobles in a new drama.
The Good Will Hunting Oscar winners have helped adapt Eric Jager’s book, The Last Duel: A True Story of Crime, Scandal, and Trial by Combat, for director Ridley Scott and casting rumours have linked the stars to the lead roles of Norman knight Jean de Carrouges and squire Jacques Le Gris.
Casey admits he’s struggling with the idea of his brother and pal playing the feuding noblemen, but insists the project is going ahead.
“They’ll be playing medieval knights of some sort, so I’m not sure that’s going to work,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “But yeah, there they’ll be on screen together and it’ll be lovely.”
Asked if he’d be joining the old pals in Scott’s new movie, Casey smiled and said, “No, I don’t know. I don’t think so.”
In the film, Ben and Matt will play friends who fall out over a rape allegation.
