Casey Kasem’s daughter granted regular visitations

The daughter of beloved U.S. radio and TV icon Casey Kasem has been granted regular visitation rights with her father in her battle against her stepmother over his medical care. Kerri Kasem has been embroiled in a legal war with the radio legend’s wife, Jean, over the care of the 82 year old, who suffers from Parkinson’s disease, and now a Washington judge has ordered Jean to allow Kerri to visit her father daily for up to an hour. She has also been granted permission to have him examined by a doctor.
Kitsap County Judge Jennifer Forbes also ruled Casey has to stay in Washington state unless a deal could be struck for him to return to California.
In May (14), Kerri was appointed her father’s official caretaker just days after she filed a missing persons report amid fears her dad had been “kidnapped” by his wife.
Another hearing has been scheduled for 6 June (14).
