Alex Pettyfer as Finnick
No matter what Pettyfer's reputation may be off-screen, you have to admit the guy has some serious magnetism on-screen. Case in point: his recent turn as a boy turned bad in the male stripper dramedy 'Magic Mike.' So not only is Pettyfer, like Finnick, a guy you have conflicting feelings for, but he's the right age and looks like the flirt-turned-foe we had in our minds. Runners-up: Taylor Kitsch, Garrett Hedlund, Armie Hammer, Ryan Kwanten.
Gina Carano as Johanna Mason
It looks like Jena Malone's first in line to play the hard-edged District 7 victor, and while we're certain the 'Sucker Punch' star would be a great fit, we're still holding out for some other candidates. Our number one choice? Mixed martial artist turned actress Gina Carano who made kicking butt downright effortless (gee, wonder why?) in her star-making turn in 'Haywire.' Runners-up: Saorise Ronan, Michelle Trachtenberg, Naya Rivera, and — Hollywood.com's Brian Moylan's pick — JWOWW from 'Jersey Shore.'
Ewan McGregor as Plutarch Heavensbee
A lot of readers pictured Plutarch as an older, heavier set fellow (no surprise as to why Philip Seymour Hoffman was reportedly offered the role) but we'd be thrilled with the part being put in the hands of any great Hollywood star like him. That's why we're going with the versatile, always-surprising Ewan McGregor. The handsome actor hardly gets to play a baddie and if anyone is up to a challenge like Plutarch, it's him. Runners-up: Cillian Murphy, Christian Bale, John C. Reilly, Christoph Waltz

Cloris Leachman as Mags
With all due respect to the lovely Betty White, it's time for a new octogenarian to win America's hearts. That's why we'd cast 'Raising Hope' gem Cloris Leachman as former Hunger Games victor and mentor Mags for 'Catching Fire.' Mags is scrappy, lovable, and brave. If anyone can bring that across the big screen, we're certain it's Leachman. Runners-up: Angela Lansbury, Ruby Dee, Rosemary Harris, and of course, Betty.
Cillian Murphy as Beetee
Alright, we admit it: we really want Cillian Murphy in this movie. While the 'Inception' actor would be a fine fit for Plutarch, we can also picture him as District 3's male tribute Beetee. Sure, he's a little young for the role (hey, that's what aging makeup is for!) because if anyone looks like they might be a techie, it's him. Runners-up: Adam Scott, Jon Hamm, Mark Ruffalo, Edward Norton.
Franka Potente as Wiress
Beetee's partner in crime Wiress is quiet, but clever and loyal. For her famous line "Tick, tock" we have to go with 'Run Lola Run' star, who knows a thing or two about fighting against the clock. Runners-up: Milla Jovovich, Shannyn Sossamon, Zoe Saldana, Neve Campbell.

Jackie Earle Haley as Romulus
A frightening peacekeeper who uses a whip with unrelenting force, we've got to imagine is a pretty scary, intimidating-looking guy. Enter: Jackie Earle Haley. A tremendously gifted actor, the Oscar nominee is someone who gives us the chills with just one look. Runners-up: John Malkovich, Willem Dafoe, Steve Buscemi, and — yes, again — Christoph Waltz.
Lake Bell as Enobaria
Lake Bell is a mysterious beauty with a devilish look in her eye. Those traits would certainly come in handy to play the District 2 tribute Enobaria, who is something of a wild card. How wild? In her first Hunger Games, she ripped out a competitors throat using only her teeth. Eat your heart out, boys (because she just might if you don't). Runners-up: Alison Lohman, Christina Ricci, Clea DuVall, Michelle Rodriguez.
