Cee Lo Green returned to The Voice in America on Wednesday (08May13) to perform in front of his former fellow judges. The Forget You hitmaker stepped down as a judge/mentor on the show so he could concentrate on his music career, and he was replaced by Usher, while fellow mentor Christina Aguilera gave up her seat to Shakira.
Green has vowed to return to the show for its next season, and he made sure Usher wasn’t sitting too comfortably by making an appearance on Wednesday.
The singer performed with Juliet Simms, who he guided into the final of the second series. Simms is now signed to Green’s record label.
